**B**ring **Y**our **O**wn **D**evice (**BYOD**) is a policy that allows customers to use their personal devices—such as SIP phones, ATAs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones—with their **I**nternet **T**elephony **S**ervice **P**roviders (**ITSP**) network. This trend is often referred to as IT consumerization.
