How much does conference calls cost?

Our conference bridge service’s cost is $1.00 per day and can be used an unlimited number of times during that period.

An addition fee of $1.00 is charged when the Web Collaboration service option is chosen.

Once conference bridge is up the following fees will apply for each caller:

FREE access for all callers directly dialing from our network
0.016¢ per minute when dialing from a local number
0.042¢ per minute when dialing from a toll-free number

How does call forwarding work?

In order to forward inbound calls to a phone located outside of our network, you need to access the Function section of the Voice Portal and specify the phone number at which you want to forward calls to, and then activate call forwarding.

The country prefix always need to be specified when you input the phone number, for example: 15148882424.

You can also activate call forwarding directly from a phone connected to our network by using the *72 or 9972 prefix. For example: *7215148882424 or 997215148882424.

To deactivate call forwarding directly from a phone connected to our network, either dial *73 or 9973.

Please note that the call will fail if your phone device’s internal dialplan is not configured to pass the different prefixes to our network.

How does call recording work?

There are two different ways to record a call;

In order to record a call that you are about to dial, either add *18 or 9918 as a prefix to the phone number. For example, to record a call to 5148882424, either dial *185148882424 or 99185148882424.

Please note that the call will fail if your phone device’s internal dialplan is not configured to pass the *18 or 9918 prefix to our network.

If you wish to record a call that is already established, either inbound or outbound, you will need to dial *18 to start the recording. Once finished, dial *18 again or just hangup.

Once the recording is finished, you will receive an e-mail containing the sound file.

Please note that prior to perform recordings on already established calls, you will need to acquire the “Recording on demand” service, which you can order on-line through the Voice Portal. Outbound calls that are dialed with a prefix, however, don’t need any service to be activated.

How are calls billed?

Calls are billed based on the actual conversation duration and rounded to the next increment. A minimum amount of seconds is also taken into account, this based on the destination of the call.

Canada: 30 seconds initial, 6 seconds increment
USA: 6 seconds initial, 6 seconds increment
Mexico: 60 seconds initial, 60 seconds increment
World: 6 seconds initial, 6 seconds increment

Example, if you call Canada for a duration of 20 seconds, you will be billed for 30. On the other hand, if you call for a duration of 38 seconds, you will be billed for 42.
