Web call-back is the ability to initiate a phone call directly from the Voice Portal.

Located in the Functions section, the web call-back features allows you to specify a number to dial so that when it is answered, the callee will be conferenced with the destination number. This could for instance be used to have the system dial your cellular phone, and once the call is answered, the system would conference you with the final destination number.

Any phone number can be used and the country code prefix is mandatory, for example: 15148885252.

In place of using a phone number, you can also have your currently registered phone to be dialed for the initial system call.

The destination call can either be a phone number, a contact name or a conference bridge, if you already have reserved one.

Please note that the call will fail if your phone device’s internal dialplan is not configured to pass the *18 or 9918 prefix to our network.

If you wish to record a call that is already established, either inbound or outbound, you will need to dial *18 to start the recording. Once finished, dial *18 again or just hangup.

Once the recording is finished, you will receive an e-mail containing the sound file.

Please note that prior to perform recordings on already established calls, you will need to acquire the “Recording on demand” service, which you can order on-line through the Voice Portal. Outbound calls that are dialed with a prefix, however, don’t need any service to be activated.

Yes. You must configure your two phones using the registration info that has been provided to you in the account confirmation e-mail that you have received. The first phone device should use your six digit account number as the username, while your second phone should use the same account number plus the letter ‘B‘ at the end.

For example, if your account number is 123456, then your first phone device would need to register with the username set as 123456 while the second phone device will need to register with the username 123456B.

Both phones need to use the same password and SIP gateway information.

Please note that you will need to use distinct SIP ports for each phone; for instance, the first phone can be configured to use SIP port 5060 while the second one can use 5061.

Once your two phones are registered, receiving a call will ring both of your phones at the same time. You will also be able to place calls on both phones simultaneously.
